New Old M14

I recently aquired an new/old M14, in pieces. It has never been put together, barrel is not attached to the receiver, plastic bag with various pins and parts.
Should I spend the time and money to put this together or just part it out, and buy a new one?

Norinco China
CAI
On top of the tang

I've got this together, but my bolt rifle barrel vice won't hold to get the barrel on.
Is there somebody in BC that can twist this on for me?
