Just received my H&R Pardner Protector from Ellwood Epps. Great service too, was here in 3 days. Did a lot of internet and u-tube research beforehand and never saw any negative comments. 12ga. 2 3/4 - 3". Seems very solid with a good weight to it. 7 1/2 lbs. Anyways I'll give it a go today, bought a box of 100 #4 shot at Wallyworld. Course I'll try other types also.:dancingbanana:
 
Sweet, I for one would like to know how it handles on the range. Was it pricey to ship? I have my eye on a plain jane Mossberg 590 when my PAL finallllly arrives in the next few days (so the CFC tells me), but I have not decided who to buy it from but I will definately check Ellwood's out.

That Mossberg looks pretty nice. I'll find out tomorrow how it handles. The shipping was $28, and like I said was here in 3 days. 1st time I bought at Ellwoods, would do so again. Hope your PAL arrives soon.
