I was talking to a well-known (at least on this website) store today who told me they're not making any new pistol orders to replenish their stock until AFTER the election....just in case...

And for the record, I just purchased a new pistol, so I'm willing to put my money on the line.

But that got me to wondering. Any of you actually holding off on pistol purchases?

Colt Python Elite, Beretta Special Duty and a P99 in the last three weeks. Though I imagine if they implement a buy back program I'll be lucky to get $1500 for all three! I'm hoping for gradfather status, figured I'd buy them while I could. I too have noticed a fair number of stores aren't bringing new pistols in, though they told me it was just the "down season." Shoot safe.

I had a Kimber .22 LR conversion kit for my .45 Colt Government Model delivered yesterday morning. It took all of 15 seconds to install and I had a ball yesterday afternoon. Fortunately, there is only 1 liberal in Alberta, hopefully she will be drawing UI in 2 1/2 weeks!
