Quite interesting, especially if it actually works. One guy posted that this stuff is actually reloadable but I dont see how that would be possible.

Plastic cased shotshells have been around for a while.

There has been plastic cased centerfire pistol ammo manufactured in the past.

There are current, experimental centerfire rifle rounds.

I don't see any on the shelves now.

I've a .223 round produced by Amtech that is polymer, but the head and approximately first 1/4" of casing is brass. I've run into a few different colors, black , white, mine is green.
