So anyone have any proof that these new powders actually work like they say they do...ex...reloader 16...23...26....
Imr's new powders ?????
Better velocity.!!!
Ideal powders
Temperature insensitive???
Your thoughts .... I'd like to know

Has anyone even seen any of these new powders. Alliant's old standbys are rare as hens teeth, and now they bring out new stuff....... Whodathunkit

Yeah, as the hit and miss availability of existing powders seems so prominent I doubt you will get much info on these new ones.

Maybe try a U.S. site where the members would have better access to these new powders.

I have used 7977 and 4451. Good speed and accuracy. I do believe there is less copper fouling also. Minimal cleaning even with monos at high speed. I will test them this winter some more for fps loss.

I have used Reloder 23 and 26.......IMR 4451 and 7977. All work well and seem to keep the barrel clean of copper better.
However, the lot of RL 26 I have is faster by a smidge than is RL 25...so be careful!
7977 is a bit slower than 7828.
I am also liking 4451 and Hybrid 100V in the 4350 burn rate area. Dave.

A lot of shooters are using IMR4198 as a replacement for SR4759.

I have used 4198 and 3031 a bit but find that they work best (actually very good) at the "upper" velocities for old cartridges, haven't had real success with them at or near traditional BP velocities. 5744 is a good 4759 substitute but damn hard to find also
