new PPSH43

Only one I ever got to play with, many years ago, was original Russian make, built in 1943, looked like hell, crude workmanship, flawless functioning and would ripppppp out that 35-round mag in just a hair over 2 seconds. LOTsa fun!

But we can't have those things. This is a free coountry. Have to keep reminding myself of that, Tovarishchi.
 
yes they were built crudely and rough looking they made 6 mill + in 3 years....

and most importantly of all they WORKED all the time

at 900 rpm cyclic rate they were a bullet hose most troops had 1 drum 71 rnds loaded 65-67 rnds only or they jammed and several stick mags 35 rnds
 
I have owned and shot both the original Russian PPSH 41 and the 43. This thing looks nothing like the originals. Yes, the original 43 was crude (as was the 41), but they shoot like a house on fire. This thing looks like it would fall apart after a mag or so.
