New praise for the fat X62

My 9.3x62 is an old Austrian made Voere, nothing much to look at, but a reliable rifle....

I definitely would, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim, as it's a hand me down from my father.

And I made a mistake, the 9.3 is a Heym. The 7x57 I have from him is the Voere. Both could use some TLC with a reblue and stock refinish, but I'd rather leave them as is.

Maybe, I'm pretty sure it has an ebony forend. I'm away from home right now on my tiny phone screen and my eyes aren't what they once were, but I'll post a pic when I get back in a week.
