New Primer Company in USA

I read a few months ago that White River primers were the only ones available in Australia. First and only time I heard of them, until now.

Have any actually been spotted in Canada?

Even if they only supply the US domestic market, that would likely ease some supply pressure, and allow some of the other manufacturers to export more of their production.

Here's hoping.....

They should honestly forget everything besides large rifle and lrm, the rest is already in stock with other brands. Either that or ginex needs to produce primes the correct thickness. Then things will finally better for Canadians.

Tell me more about the Ginex LRP problem, please.

This is what I am hoping too. Even if we don't see THIS product, as long as they produce more than boutique quantities it should help us out.

They're a fraction of a mm too thick. I prime on the press and full force they won't fit into certain brass. Have to swag the primer pocket or if the primer pocket opens up with many firings. Super annoying, they're primers for small rifle is normal like everyone else don't know why it's like that for lr

They're a pain in the butt, for most large rifle primed cases manufactured in North America. I've used them in RWS cases without any issues. They even fit some of my Berdan primer cups well.

White River is the new Texas plant, took about 2 yrs to get up and running, Fiocchi is supposed to be up and running on a new primer plant by the end of this year, along with an ammo plant, out of Georgia or N Carolina. Now, we just have to deal with a guncotton shortage, but, apparently some in France is looking at building a plant over there, but, that'll be 2-3 yrs out, US could use one too, but, EPA is in the way on that.

Pretty much incorrect across the board, at least geopgraphically.

White River Energetics is in Des Arcs, Arkansas.
The Fiocchi expansion is in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Assuming the "new Texas plant" refers to Expansion Industries in Texarkana, that is vapourware and seems unlikely to ever come to fruition.

Ya, OK, I wuz sorta close on the location, at least it was SE seabordish. White River is definitely not the Texas one, seems to me that's Lone Star, they took over an old ammo plant there, I did see a pic of a box of theirs, but, thinking it was a not for retail sale box. IIRC they had contracts to fill to get it going, but apparently are going now, even if not for retail sales yet. White River is an interesting company, guys that own it are a pretty big outfit, into some big gov't stuff.
