New Prince George IPSC Range

The new IPSC facility will be open for matches only.
The rifle ranges are still under construction. The main holdup(besides funds) on the 1000m+ range is the big hump of rock being removed from the middle. When that is done, construction of the firing line can start.

Very nice setup.....I take it that the new range is out near Baldy Hughes ?......seems to me I remember ther was a small informal type range out that way years ago....near there somewhere?
 
yes there is a small range nearby , old and rundown from what I here. We are between it and baldy hughes.


I have been informed that this range has been condemned by the range inspector /B]

what about black guns ? Any "tactical" range ? Can we use IPSC backstop for 223 and shotgun ?

We are planning a 200m tactical range to the north of our range, all thats stopping it is the lack of money. And we are approved for rifle/shotgun in our bays. :D
 
there are maps in the match copy, on the IPSC BC website.

Just head towards the old range, south on highway 16. Just before the highway turns west , there will be a road to the left. Take the Blackwater road towards West Lake. Go approximately 25 1/2 kms down that road. The range is on the right side. If you get to Baldy Hughes (Moose Springs Resort) you've gone to far.

Wow, that's going to be incredible! It's nice to see that there's somewhere in this province that doesn't waste all it's dozer time building golf courses!
