I like it. Always wanted something in 7.62x25 but don't like the TT-33.

X2, I loved my TT-33 except the way the trigger is designed magazines will randomly hang on the trigger bars on insertion and that REALLY PISSED ME OFF.

If it didn't do that I would have kept it, but fatal design flaw.

The P762 being a Sig 226 copy should be more or less perfect, or at very most just a tiny bit of polishing to suit each shooters preference.

I doubt anyone has received theirs yet, I'll post pictures when I get it hopefully this week.

I'm confident that Canada Ammo has had these checked extensively as there Dominion Arms built for them. Looking forward to shooting this cartridge out of a modern pistol design, I just hope the finish is up to par with the DA556 I bought earlier this year which was good for an AR finish. Again as it's Canada Ammo getting these for us we have solid backing and warranty protection.

Anything along the lines of a NR modern looking carbine in this caliber in the works from you guys?
Nothing at the moment. Get a new semi rifle takes approx 3 years from start to finish with the FRT system we have in Canada.

The P762 should handle all the ammo out there. I have yet to see any real data on the mystery Czech SMG ammo.

This was my first time ordering a restricted online. I got the confirmation that my EMT has been processed a few hours ago, and the email says they will email with shipping info. Will that include a reference number and info needed to complete the transfer, or will there be another communication/ will I have to contact CanadaAmmo to get the transfer going?

They take care of everything. The reference # is just FYI in case you want to bug the CFC about how your transfer is going. Without any worry from you, your toy should arrive soon

Can someone confirm if the grip width is the same as NP22, I.E. double stack capable with pinned mags rather than specially created for 10 round (slimmer) mags?

Waiting for CFC Approval - Transfer made, waiting for approval

So-what about a bolt action carbine using TT mags-a la' Destroyer- easier I presume ?

I concur. Look at the price of rifles in .32-20 !! 7.62x25 would be such a great little varmint round.

I'd buy, and be happy with a turn-bolt; but I think a straight-pull like the Anshutz/Fortner or the K-31 would be much superior. Maybe even an up-rated version of the Browning T-bolt?
Or a modern lever action like the BLR would be great too!

As for mags, have the rifle designed to use the surplus TT mags for availability; however, have the mag housing be easily replaceable. Then, after the rifle has been approved and sold for at least a year, have the factory design and build a larger capacity mag and mag housing as a retro fit for the older rifles, and have them come standard in the newer model (but continue to build the TT mag housing for those of us with a bunch of TT mags).

Oh... and those larger cap mags for the manual action rifles.... wouldn't it be an amazingly fortuitous coincidence if they also happened to fit some other firearms?

And, of course, make sure that there are no mentions in the sales literature or embarrassingly yappy engineers that talk about which other firearms these new mags might fit.
