I love the 15" Mossberg shotgun barrel idea. I have a 835 that I'd like to put a short rifled slug barrel on.

SVT-40 clone chambered in 6.5X55, 7.62X51 or 8mm Mauser. Or, all 3 with easy change barrels.

Love this idea...always wanted a modernized svt,
 
A flat topped bipod that is sling mounted. For those of us with beavertail forends who don't want to modify their gun. All sling mount bipods i have seen are v shaped(for normal stocks) and would mar my stock.
 
Source some cheap milsurp SKS and permanently retool them with STANAG magwells with relocated mag releases so mags can be dropped with hand on fire control like an M4 and 18.5" barrels with permanently installed muzzle devices. I'd be happy with bare action to drop in the furniture of my own choosing. Lets face it, most people these days are dropping their SKS in new furniture before they even fire them.
 
A non restricted, semi-auto, AR mag .223/5.56. Either something like the Mini-14, or get the drawings from Armalite and bring back the AR 180B. A medium contour 1/9 barrel, keymod handguard and decent sights that don't require a chin weld to use optics.
 
Old thread but how about anything in 9x39. Wolf is going to be importing ammo into the US and making AR-15 uppers for the caliber, so surely Wolf dealers here will be able to get that stuff in. If 9x39 starts showing up here then a little bolt action rifle or a dedicated semi-auto in that caliber would be super sweet. It's a necked up 7.62x39 so even having a rifle with the ability to swap between 7.62x39 and 9x39 on the same platform using the same magazines would be pretty fricken sweet.

How about an SKS knock off or a cheap lever 94 or 92 style in .410?

Just something with a drop mag or similar to bring in the truck for grouse on the road.
