Woohoo I just received my new NEIT lefty tabbed carrier today! Finish is great! There was some weird chocolate brown goop that was all around the underside that I just scrubbed off with some Gunzilla and a toothbrush. Not sure what it was? The welds look okay...I was expecting prettier but I ain't complaining! The longer, horizontal charging handle makes for very smooth operation. The knob-less design along with the increased diameter is also extremely comfy and feels nice and light. I also like the rings around the charging handle as they offer some nice grip texture. I am very satisfied with this piece. Thank you very much NEIT! I can't wait to go and shoot...

As a lefty I'm curious: why not hold the gun with the pistol grip and actuate the bolt carrier with the right hand?

Who did the welding?
They're welded as best as can be.. because they're installed on the horizontal (45deg to the mounting surface) it's very hard to get the TIG torch in there.
The welding was a bit of a overkill maneuver, the handles were hot riveted in place then welded.
Like I said, they're not newly manufactured, they are re-manufactured and as such aren't quite as pretty as one right off the machine. If I opted to install the handles at the factory angle like the ones we used to do the welds would have been purdy... function over form on these guys.
That weld on that one does look a little rough, if you want it exchanged let me know.

Nothing that a Dremil couldn't fix
I like this idea way better than the devil horns 1. Although the only negitive thing I can see about this is the fact that there is a whole cavity left open. Would be nice if it could be filled in. Is this possible NeitArms?

Let me know, we can fill one for you on the next batch if you want that. We opted for hollow to lighten the entire piece as well help relieve stress caused by having a much larger bolt handle.
