new project, what would you do?

me thinks a mountain sheep gun isnt in the works, when the word Sendero is mentioned...;)

A 280 Ackley with a 25-27" tube would absolutely scream with 120s, and do so with only burning 60 grains of powder.

I love the 7mm Rem Mag, but I think I'd love the 280 AI even more ;)

7RM, easy. The others may be more "cool" but the 7RM will give yo umore velocity.:)

Only one choice.... 280AI or bust! Velocity difference between it and the 7RM will be VERY minimal... especially from a long tube where the difference in trajectory will be less than an inch or two WAY out there.

The 280AI is all that... with less powder and recoil, dramatically increased case life, and it is kooler (grin)!

Then again... I may be a little biased!
