New pup

Got my new Brit today and strangely enough my 6 year old male Chip tolerates Bug better than I hoped . Here's a few pics House training starts tommorow and I expect a serenade tonight. A nice respite from dealing with Ford explorer with a pooched timing chain.

Yup I got him for a previous breeding where she used Chip. He's a bold little boy.

Puppies have a certain smell that helps older dogs tolerate them. Best time to introduce dogs is while the puppy is less than a year old.

All my dogs have tolerated pups buy only one , my second male actually enjoyed having them around.

I know a couple that got one of his brothers. And i bet he is a bold handful, i've seen some pics and videos of them getting in trouble a few weeks ago!

Kim and Tom picked Major as he was very friendly to Kim. He's a bold pup and I took him for a walk this morning in the country and he was 30 yards into a field having a ball, not bad for an 8 week old pup. I've had 3 of Leslie's dogs and all were unique but good hunters and family pets.

View attachment 13793So does he leave a trail of devastation in his wake? Harley is three now and has settled in nicely but the first while was quite expensive. Wooden Wood Duck (one of the wife's collectables), GPS power feed in the truck, speaker wire in living room, seat belt chewed through, an energy level that demanded more attention than I had some days and my personal favourite; finding some rat poison that I had missed while puppy proofing in the basement. Learned something that day. Sort freaked out when I noticed a Bromone pellet hanging from his lip. Went online looking for a way to make him puke. Feeding a pup a couple tablespoons of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide will make them vomit, usually within ten minutes or so. If not repeat. It worked. Something for garbage guts puppy owners to be aware of. Great looking pup you have there. Good luck.

So far no destruction as he's confined to the kitchen for now with puppy proof??? gates. He still gets sick when in a car but he'll adapt as each morning I run Chip and take Bug for a walk. Still its a good thing they can look cute and innocent after pooping on the floor.
