New puppy came home today!!!!

Yup and tell him to go pee each and every time.
While he's doing it say the same thing.
Then when you go for a car ride, kick him out and
tell him to pee. They soon get the message.
Always best before bed time too.
Hate it when I doze off and the yelp at the door to go out
comes along.

We are into week four with our yellow lab pup. If your golden is anything like her, there will be times when you can't let her out of your sight for a second because she will find something to get into. Nothing better than when they curl up at your feet for a nap though.

Damn... I rushed in to share pics of my Golden "Molly" only to see OP didn't post a pic.... screw it.... I'm stealing his thunder....lol

Awesome superbrad! Good lookin'! I'm looking forward to getting my second Chesapeake Bay Retriever :D We've fallen in love with the breed, but I've had friends with golden retrievers and they are awesome dogs too.

Dogs are great!

After a 12 hour night shift I came home to a hallway full of diarrhea. Not what I wanted to deal with.

She was so sad giving sheepish dog smiles and trying to say sorry. She's sitting beside me still expecting to get in #### but I've been consoling her because she was obviously sick.

Cool looking pup Brad! Just remember, they'll give you everything they have and sometimes more!

Thanks guys.... she's bigger now... that was 3 months ago.... has been through obedience training and I have her fetching dummies with the starter pistol.... tracking lessons start in 3 weeks...

This works. I've trained all of my dogs this way. It's surprising how fast they catch on.

That's an adorable puppy!!
