New purchase a used CZ550 308 laminated stock!

what's your budget? if you want nothing special, cheap but good, look to the Bushnell 3200 series.

you can even consider the Redfield Revenge, as they're fully multi-coated while the Revolution are just multi-coated, so avoid.

Don't over-scope your hunting rifle with a 10X glass with a 50 mm objective. The purpose of the scope's magnification is to allow you to see the target, so more isn't necessarily better, it depends what you're shooting at and from how far. If black bear and moose are your targets, they aren't hard to see at the ranges they're typically shot. A wolf out on a frozen lake might be a bit more challenging, but still not something you need a varmint scope to see.

The physical size of the scope should be in scale to the rifle, but at the same time, the bigger scope the more fragile it is likely to be, and the higher it must be mounted to clear the barrel, the more susceptible it is to damage. If your target is a big game animal, a low powered variable is pretty hard to beat, so consider a 1.5-5X, a 1.75-6X, a 2-7X or a 2.5-8X. Choose your reticles to be visible in low light without battery illumination, if you always count on the battery, it could let you down when you really need it.

At the range, once you're sighted in, set up your shooting scenarios to replicate shooting conditions in the field. If you place time limits upon yourself, and shoot from field positions, such shooting can be very challenging.

I really like the Zeiss Conquest line. I have been replacing my Bushnell 3200 and 4200's with them. Bright, clear, consistent eye relief through the magnification range. Reasonably priced for what you get....

Everybody is going to suggest whatever they currently use ;)

One word of advice: GO to the your LGS and try them side by side; if you can, do NOT buy a scope without seeing it in person first (I know this might not be always possible in Canada)

Case in point: I was dead set on a a new Bushnell Elite after reading way too much online; went to pick it up, salesman offered also Vortex Viper an Leupold VX-2 for very similar prices. Spent 20 minutes looking back and forth and came home with the VX-2 (which I had never considered during my month long online search). I found the salesman highly professional (Italian in Vancouver), just offering me choices, saying the were all relatively similar and let it being up to me.

Eye relief, reticule, touch feeling etc can be a very subjective preference; I liked the lightness of the VX-2, its eye relief and the simple Duplex (which Vortex does not offer). I am not saying everyone should get brand X, just that you should check by yourself, in person, what's available.
