I think people misinterpreted me. I wasnt bagging on the rifle. Its a beut. I was actually serious in asking that question of "was I missing something"? I just thought in paying $2500 you would get a nicer finish than a "less expensive" gun. Not saying its not a pretty gun. I would love to have one. (too poor )

Yes you are missing something, its MILSPEC! So it kills the bad guys even more dead.

I'd ditch the MP15 into the far end of the safe and start ripping through the Colt. It's MILSPEC, its never gonna break.
