new question for silverdale members

what do i get for the $20 day pass? what i mean is whats included? shooting a handgun? rifle?

I've went there a few times. You get to shoot from 9-5 and they give you the paper targets. So $20 gives you access to the range and that's it. You should get with you your own protection (eyes/ear), firearm and ammo. They sell ammo there in case you run out :). Nice friendly people I am thinking of joining but definitely worth trying out.

Yup. The $20 day pass just gets you in the door, and all the basic paper targets. Silverdale does offer "New Shooter" packages where you can rent an RO and a few different guns to shoot... It can be fun to try out a few handguns and an AR if your PAL is not a restricted.

Walk ins with a PAL, and guns are just fine, but if you have neither you need to book an appointment for the new shooter experience, which is different from a day pass.

The $20 day pass is for guests who are there with members, or PAL holders with their own guns just looking for a bench to shoot from.

Call and ask for Joan, she can explain everything.

thanks for all the replies just got back, it was awesome! first time i got to shoot my rem 870 it was great other than the sore shoulder lol does anyone know if they plan to build an indoor handgun range?

I just got back too! I spent all morning out there, Mostly shadowing an RO.... I'm in RSO Training, but I did get to shoot 150 rounds out of my new-to-me Marlin 22 Magnum.. Boy was that fun. It's gonna be a great little gun for rabbits and such. We should set up a trap shoot some time, get a bunch of guys together and go shoot a few rounds of trap down at the club....
