New Receptionist Area (Pic Heavy)

Nice desk! The only thing I would have done differently... NO OAK!!!

Oak (especially natural/light stain) makes it look a little dated, in my opinion. But still nice work!

Can we get some close-ups of the rifles in the back room? I see some full length wood, perhaps a mauser, possibly some Enfields, and something with full wood and an optic sight?

Thanks!

We went with oak as it matches all of our other cabinetry. It fits in perfectly!

But I do agree, Oak can start looking 1970's very quickly if not chosen specifically....

did the carpenters happen to also build a nice sized island in the rifle bay for us to set our cases on and such? cause thats desperately needed. hell id come in and do it for trade if you supply the materials. nothing fancy needed, just a good size 3' x 7' (or so) table in the middle all made out of 2x4s with an MDF top. lots of room for everyone and there stuff.
im serious.

The rifle bay has been cleaned up and the retrieval systems modified so they all work now.

We put a couple of tables in there so it shouln't be such a problem with cases.

Also, the staff now seem to care a lot more about the place so the cleaning is not simply superficial now.

In the next little while, there will be a ton of steel added to the rifle bay as well to better deflect and protect us from stray wired ricochets from leaving the bay.

Plus: the new (action target) target retrieval system will be installed sometime in July/August.

I'll repeat my request with a picture....
