Not likely with the safety switch being on the side like it is, unless it's a modified plinkster with a new safety system installed. Plinkster/715 has a push switch in the trigger guard not a flip switch on the receiver.

WTF? So if someone puts a "AK47 dressup kit" on their non-restricted Ruger 10/22, the gun's status would suddenly change to "prohibited"? We've seen it done and it hasn't. So what justifies THIS?

Theres sweet f-all of an actual AK-47's gas system in that Mossberg and no parts are interchangeable with an actual AK. Therefore it isn't a clone, nor is it a variant...
