Go this new Redfield Revolution 3x9-50mm and installed it as usual and then ran out of side adjustment. They state that the turret can be corrected. Anybody ever did this that can help me out?

Thanks,

If you have used "Redfield-style" bases and rings (the kind in which the rear ring is held between a couple of large headed screws), you adjust these (loosen one, tighten the other) to physically move your scope until it is centred. Ordinarily you'd want your scope's windage adjustment knob to be approximately in the middle of its travel.

Leupold STD mounts are "Redfield-style" mounts, as the design was invented by the old Redfield company.

As already mentioned, the STD mounts are Redfield-style.

You'll probably find that one of the windage screws on the mount is fully bottomed against the base, and the other one has a certain amount of gap. Loosen the first one, tighten the second, make the gaps between the screws and the base about equal, and see if that puts you a lot closer to the centre of your scope's adjustment range.
