New Release - Marlin 1895 Trapper in 45-70

Don't be fooled, newer Rugers made Marlins have their flaws.

I haven't seen a Trapper in real life yet.

The SBL model is unreal to say the least.

Better than a JM model hands down and obviously better than a Remington/Marlin.

Ruger/Marlin is the bomb, no question.

They will be worth the wait for all of us.

get me one BUDDY!!!!

This fellow also stated that Ruger/Marlin made changes to this design flaw.

There will always be bugs to work out. Plus, this issue was only on the 1895 GBL, not the 1895 SBL or the 1895 Trapper models.

When you are making a firearm that some people are willing to spend $4000.00 to have it, this might tell you they have made a winning design!

I know, some ass makers kissers are dumb enough to spend $4000 on such a rifle. I will spend this amount on a 1874 Shiloh rifle first...

Sold my Chiappa 45-70 to eventually find one of these gems..

I don’t think there will be a better gun for hunting the thick woods of northern Ontario for moose and bear !

Found one a lot faster than I thought.
Amazing gun.
Well worth selling the Chiappa !

This baby is gold.

I have ordered over 100 of each of the new Ruger/Marlin 45-70 rifles.

The SBL, Trapper and GBL models.

It will be interesting to see how many actually show up.

I'll sell everyone if we end up with 300 plus guns.

And as I'm certain someone will ask, I created and run the largest gun/hunting shop in the Kootney Region of BC in Cranbrook. Been in business just over two years now.

Canadian Tire Pro Shop in the Tamarack Mall, Cranbrook, BC.

We have over 800 firearms in stock and over $400,000.00 in an amazing selection of hard-to-find ammunition. If I don't have the firearm or ammunition, you are looking for, I'll try to bring it in for you.

Unfortunately, we do not ship at this time, in saying that things could change if the situation changes.

Come on down and check us out, we provide prompt, efficient and courteous service with very knowledgeable staff.

See you there, thanks!........:)

Korth Group is a huge distributor for us! (Ruger, Leupold, Marlin, Hornady, Fabarm and Eley.

Thank you, Bruce, for the kind words! It's always a pleasure to see you in the shop.

I am glad you like the Ruger/Marlin Trapper in 45-70, these models are absolutely gorgeous and put together with a lot of pride.

We appreciate your business......:)

See you soon.

I believe that’s a Remington made one, whoever jumped on that might just be upset when they realize it’s not a ruger made lol

I would guess that Wolverine didn’t update their website stock photo.

I’m sure they have a new Ruger Marlin 1895 Trapper.

I wouldn’t assume that, someone I know on here bought one from a site sponsor brand new, randomly in stock and it was a remlin. Needless to say they weren’t stoked when they got it.

You could be right for sure but buyer beware.

That’s kinda wild finding a new old stock of one of those, did he keep and do you know if he had any issues?

From my experience those late production Remlins (trapper was introduced in 2018) were quite good. They were built after Remington replaced all the old worn out Marlin tooling etc and fixed the quality issues that plagued the original Remington made guns.
