New reloader can't find powder.......

We should have a powder manufacture in Canada
For smokeless and black powder for muzzleloader hunters
And rifle cartridges like imperial use to, challenger
Makes great shotshells. nd are affordable , why can't we
Have our own manufactures of powder And components
, we wouldn't have to depend on us manufactures for our
Ammo??? Gevelot use to make rifle ammo as well
In Canada I believe, same as firearm manufactures
Why can canada have that? Cooey and lake field
Use to be here, made gd guns,

IMR powders are made in Quebec, and packaged in US

General dynamics makes powders in Quebec. They are serving the military market.

Matrix bullets are made in canada, as is chinchaga.

i can say 100% working at a shop it is also hoarders. i get 4350 in and by the next day 10 bottles are bought by 1 guy. i ca;ll that hoaring and evertytime we get it its the same thing. sells to 1 or 2 guys and its gone.
its not the whole issue but its a big part of it. i see it daily at work

then order more powder.....

Back on the original topic : Higginson's had lots of H4895 8 pounders on hand. I just hung up with Andrew to order 3 of them and he's got way more.

Seems logical to me.....
then order more powder.....

Hoarding as it is deemed here is more economical. Why would I pay for shipping 10 times when I could get reduced shipping if I just ordered a bunch. I ordered 16lbs of a popular Hodgdon powder yesterday, gets here shortly from out east. Was it expensive, sure, was it hard to find... not really. Too many folks are simply too lazy or shy to pick up the phone though. I could care less if you call me a hoarder, just means I will be out shooting while others are stuck at home with their BB guns!

I have been using IMR 4064 or H4895 for 308. The only way I can get it is to order from Cabelas and wait a month or two.
