After a year of loading in a small corner of the basement, storing my firearms in basically a heavily constructed lock box, and digging through rubbermaid hoppers to find my hunting clothes, our basement development is complete, and I am moved into my shooting/hunting room. I would like to have done some things different, and I may still make some small changes, but there is only so much that a person can fit into a 12'x8' room.

OP has a Good start. Regretted several yrs ago ordering only 20k. Nothing more beautiful than seeing a shelf full of reloading supplies smirking at all the folks hunting for a box or 2.
Nice setup! Are you sure you have enough primers?

Nice room! One silly question: what's the max amount of powder that can be stored in a dwelling where you live? That picture looks like there's about 40 lbs, lots more than I'd be able to keep in Ontardio.

Also: you didn't want to have some of your firearms racked on a wall to display and provide inspiration while you reload? :)

Very nice. Neat too! I follow your thinking with reloading supplies. I have enough stuff to last until global warm...oops! climate change does us all in. I've often said on here that I have enough ammo to hold off the Chinese army for about three months of heavy fighting.

Good job and thanks for sharing. If I were to post a picture of my room(s), people would likely start sending money to help with the restoration after what appeared to be a direct hit from a tornado. :p

Thanks, that's what I thought: 55 lbs. I'm in apartment, so I'm a tad more limited (those 8lbs cans are a no-no for me).
