I know there is an epic thread going on 760/7600 right now but I am just wondering if anyone has had or knows of any issues with the new 7600's.

Last May [ 2011], I ordered 1 , a 30-06 carbine from WSS in Naniamo and was told I could pick it up in about 6-8 weeks, in September, after numberous visits to check on it, the store manager called me at work and said they were having plenty of problems with the new models feeding properly, and advised me not to buy one, he said he had been hunting with the manager of the Langley store and he could not get the gun to work properly and that there was some in Langley waiting to go back to Remington for warranty. I ended buying a used one on Gunnutz from Ontario, in .270 and it works perfectly, hope this helps, ribber

I owned a 2010 model in 243. In terms of feeding, once I learned that you have to ensure the magazine is all the way in (a loaded mag can be a real bearcat because when fully loaded, the sides tend to swell (bulge out).

In terms of accuracy, it was a great shooter.

The main issue I had was that it kept blowing casings apart about a 1/4" from the casing head. It was sent to Que. (Gravel's). for repairs and they ended up replacing it. The new one did exactly the same thing. So I traded it for a Savage bolt action.
