New Remington 105 CTI

I have been very curious about this shotgun too. There was one in the EE a while ago that really tempted me, but for some reason I held off. Maybe I will pick up a new one sometime in the future.

Keep the reviews coming, let us know how it lasts once your ammo count starts racking up!

I have a CTi. Beauty gun. It's very new to me and I've only been able to get out with it once so far, but it's slick. It shoulders great, has really conservative recoil, and looks like a million bucks!

Why do Remington on this gun and Browning on the Cynergy put those goofy curved recoil pads? Changing pads on that gun would require some major wood work and probably spacers to return the gun to the original LOP.

It has been 100% for skeet, recoil is a non issue. It has no problem with any ammo so far. I am a big fan of the bottom feed and bottom eject, works nice. Some of the old boys gave it a go and were pleasantly surprised. I have no problem with the look of the pad, but different strokes...

I don't have a problem with how it looks either but half of my current shotguns don't have the factory recoil paid. It's the design of the pad that makes it very hard to replace unless you get another identical one from Remington. If you want to add length, change the pitch or do any of the other things that shotgunners do to improve fit then it requires potentially major wood surgery.
