new remington 597, AR style

It beats the 597 I currently own, but I won't consider a switch until I know what's going on with the Colt "M4".

16" barrel, but the OAL would still be above 26, even with the stock fully collapsed.

w/ a decent scope and a bi pod I think its a pretty sweet unit, again depending on the price. I have a 10 22 project that looks kind of similar(still think mine will be better) for under 500 clams.
but then I like tame Tacticool

here's a link to the email page, it shows the 597 with a fixed stock and scope and i think it looks better than the non scoped collapsible one.

but still, it looks disproportional, but still kinda cool
