I picked up a new Remington 597 that came with a Tasco 3-9x32 scope. I brought it home and gave it a cleaning, mounted the scope and off to the range I went.
To make a long story short, I wasnt having much luck with groupings or consistency and finding out later that the scope was mounted crooked.
I got the scope mount issue sorted out and went back out today to try again. Using the 50 yard bench, I started trying to zero the scope. I was using Winchester Dynapoint GT 40gr bulk ammo. My shots were still all over the map with zero consistency even though I was using a solid bench rest and little to no wind.
I know the problem is not me. Can the issue be the ammo or is this another case of a bad Remington product?
