Leupold base and rings. But have to get higher rings as bolt does not clear scope flip caps.

Bought 60 rds of Hornady Superperformance Varmint 50 gr Vmax.

Bought the die to reload.

Can't shoot it until I get new rings and will likely not be able to until Monday.

Anyone like these rigs? hate them?

I can't resist bull barrels.

I can go with something else. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed, either. But it was absolutely mad in the store and the clerk was buried by customers.

But new rings are a must as the scope comes with the flip caps and the adjustment is a side dial.

Awww. I thought this was going to be a WTS thread with some hawt pics. Too bad. Sounds like a nice setup. (Where are the hawt pics?)

With new rings in hand, I have mounted the scope, will bore sight it and maybe shoot it tonight or tomorrow. ASAP.

Glass is impressive. Really sharp and crisp.

The bolt opens the flip cap, but I can live with that. It will likely be open anyway when I cycle the bolt.

Now it's ###y and I'll take a pic.

I'm not very handy with the cam.

Ok.

The scope is awesome. The rifle is awesome. Boresighting was good. about 3" - 4" from dead centre on first shot @ 25 yds. @ 50 yds it took very little to adjust it to dead centre.

It's heavy, no problem.

It gets hot.

Reloading is the only way to go. It took about 1 hour to blow off 50 rds. with some intervals to allow it to cool off. But at $27/box, reloading is the only way for me. Will pick up some bullets and powder tomorrow.

I hear the safety is unreliable. Was told not to use it.
