All day long, prefer my M7 308 CDL with 18.5" barrel.
The peashooter Camo M7 with 16.5" barrel will drop deer near the same.

My local shop has a model 7 in 300 blackout with adjustable cheek rest that I always look at. I don’t hear to many good things about the blackout in a rifle with no silencer. If any one can help convince me to purchase it that would be great!!!

A good, low powered scope (1-4, 1.5-5) in low mounts is a better sighting system than open sights by far. I've used them both.

Remington sells world wide, so threaded and short, is good if your allowed a suppressor,

posted a link to NZ Forum, that has a model 7 thread running, sum very nicely modified model 7 rifles.

Yeah I had that same idea a long time ago, worked great at the range.
