New Remington R51 in 9mm announced!

This is a very exciting little pistol in 9mm that shares many features with my favorite HK P7 pistol.

Unfortunately, if it's like any other Remington product made in the past 30 years, the quality will be sh!t and nowhere near HK P7 level.

While it wont be a H&K, for the price I'm sure it will be a hit. I can't speak for everyone's experiences, but I own 5 Remington firearms and I am very happy with all of them.

Confirmed is a threaded barrel version. Not yet know if the barrel length is over 105mm.

Is any ones GOOGLE-fu better than mine? I have searched high and low and left and right for specs on the threaded barrel length.
No luck.
I would be all over this pistol if a Canadian legal barrel length becomes available.

This pistol is intended for the CCW market which is huge in the US at present. Wonder if Remington has any plans to produce a full sized pistol? Always nice to have choices.

The threaded barrel is long enough for Canada and will be coming here when produced. I don't have any dates yet.

I love the look of this pistol, even with the longer barrel I think this will be very cool.

It has very nice curves and seems well balanced, not to mention a very low MSRP.
