new reproduction m1 carbines

Not likely. The Auto-Ordnance/Kahr carbines are expensive($899US MSRP $1,030.00 for one with a copy of the para-stock) and just as restricted as a milsurp or any other carbine. There's no mention of any non-U.S. dealers on their site either.
No point importing a rifle that you can't shoot.

There are lots of non restricted re barreled original M1's in Canada . Trick is to find one at a decent price . I paid $245.00 for mine from a dealer .But that was a few yrs ago before the EE came around to over inflate prices on just about any firearm
LOL

There would be and probably is as much a demand for something like this as any restricted handgun or AR15,its just a matter of time,if enough people want it,someone will bring it in.
Just look at all the Repo W.W.2 germen MP38s and STuG 44 that their bring in,and some of that is for 7.92x33Kurtz ammo,I mean I can get .30carb ammo at lots of places, but, where the hell do you find that stuff easily with out reloading?

Except that Mp38's and Stg 44's aren't available to anyone but the most rare 12X holders. I can buy an M1 carbine in a few hours for under $500 if I put up a wtb add...

Which is why there would really be no reason to produce a repro M1 Carbine. They're not useful for hunting or as target rifles. The only reason would be nostalgia, which is good (hence the STG-44s and the MP40s), but there are too many originals around to make sense producing one again.

Kahr Arms in the US has started making repros under their Auto Ordinance banner. Was reading a review on them when I was on the can a few minutes ago. Supposedly late-production spec with a vented metal handgaurd. The prospect of getting a batch with 19" barrels is probably slim to less than nothing but figured I'd mention it

Nah,the new ones you only need your restricted PAL to get.

He was saying that to express the need for reproductions that were only restricted. Read carefully.

The commercial M1 Carbines were produced for a while but I wasn't expecting to hear of any new ones. It's interesting that someone is still producing them!

Reread what was said, and it still sounds like H Wally thought I was taking about ether the real thing or exact copies of those W.W2 german firearms and not new made repos.
The new M1 carbines are not reprodutions, their new made, people want them because their fun to shoot and the ammo is still fairly cheep, and the old ones that are out there are gettig old, being horded by collectors,or are starting to cost as much as new made one do.

being horded by collectors,cost .

what collectors would NEVER do that.....

this was when I 1st started collecting m1 carbines i have MANY more then this now......
