Always been a fan of the M1 Carbine so I just got my Chiappa M1-22 with a wood stock from Tenda today. Beautiful rifle, and I like the open bolt and the top ejection. A big thank you to Tenda for their top notch service even in these difficult times. Now to find the ammo it favors.:stirthepot2:

Nice looking rifle and Tenda has them on sale too!
Are there a lot of plastic bits eg. sights, etc

The sights are as well as barrel band and bayonet lug, trigger guard. Some are interchangeable with surplus original M1 parts. The stocks are for sure. They are dovetailed for a scope but would need higher mount for top ejection. Plastic or what they call polymer parts are fine for me, it's a .22 and it's used by just about every make and models. It does have a metal butt plate like the originals. They say 100 to 200 rds before it settles down. Red dot is an option.

Thanks for the info.....(synthetic stock) I assumed you bought the wood stock model

Please let us know ow it works out for you...

Went to the range today and tried it out. Worked perfectly, no FTF or FTE. The recoil surprised me for a rimfire and it is louder than any other I've had. 26 rds today only but my cold fingers couldn't load another mag. Wasn't shooting for accuracy just wanted to see how it functioned, so happy with that. The rear site will have to be replaced for something my old eyes can make out clearly, even a red dot would help a lot. A very fun rifle to shoot.
