New rifle **PICS ARE UP**

Leupold or Nightforce are great but 3200 is likely ok for starters... I started with a 3200 then switched to a Super Sniper then a Leupold and funds allowed.

I am new to the whole '1 shot' game..so I hope this scope will serve me well...I love how you boys call this an entry level scope...heheheh Ya would think $4-500 would get ya a damn good rig..!!! Silly noob spend all his $$$ on 'tactical' instead of practical. If it sux I can always bang it on my 10-22 (and have a quiet cry)

hahahaha its my b-day tomm and I am going shooting!

good luck shooting tommorow

FWIW, WholeSale Sports or Russell Sports sells the 3200 4-12x40 for $360

A 3200 10x40mm w/ mildots is $250

:)

sooo what your saying nicely is I am a retard...;) I got a good deal on the whole package including the rifle (real good actually) You guys have me very concerned about said scope...I figure if I can hit targets at 300m I am pretty happy...BUT if I can't see it I can't hit it...hmmm...I may have some buyers remorse coming down...or I need to drink faster...lol

It'll work, don't worry too much, and it's still worlds above a lot of the crap out there. You'll likely find it just fine, but when you're ready to move up you'll see the difference. It's still a nice setup, and it took me awhile to get to good glass too. Kind of one of those learning curves you gotta go through yourself. Hell, I used to swear by my 6-24X Tasco. You'll probably be quite pleased with the bushnell, then when you start climbing the optics ladder to the point where a lot of us are, that is you buy a $1600 rifle you also buy a $1600 scope, you'll be one of us old wet blankets that comes down like a hammer on anyone using anything but Leupold and up. ;)

I say have fun, it'll do just fine, and it'll give you firsthand experience with what is important to you in a scope.

but you cannot mail order a house :D

let us know how it shoots

very true...but I like to support my local shop as they are independent....

now back to this 'mail order' issue...what about Russian brides? hahahaha:eek:

wow...never shot a gun like that b4...I kinda see what you guys are talking about in terms of the scopes limitations. 250m was hard for me to see (I have pretty bad eyes and it was sun of snow conditions) But as for that lil' rifle...just amazing!

^ I would like to try so prone stuff but my club rules forbid it...next time I am out in the bush perhaps...just love that Tikka though ...Thanks for replys guys...I am always interested in learning form the experts. (thumbs up) I am sure I will have tons more ?'s for ya!

I have a 6-24x42mm Tasco ($180) on my M77 Stainless -223rem. 1/4" - 3 shot groups at 100yrds - 26.5grs Benchmark powder and 50gr Moly Hornady vmax BT.

I just bought a 3-12x50mm IR Mil-dot from North Battleford Sask. $298 includes gst and shipping for my 104 year old Mauser... I hope to post a pic on here for you guys to see. I had a 3-9 Vari on it and it was printing 1/2" - 3 shot groups at 100yrds. Anyway my 2 cents guys.
