I was looking at buying a sako 85 finnlight and recently discovered some bad reviews about ejection. I am a fan of tikka's however I'm not partial to them....wondering what choices should I be looking at for best in class accuracy in a fairly light weight rifle...I plan on buying a 30-06 for moose hunting and maybe deer....please give me some suggestions on accurate, well-functioning rifles...price not really an issue as I was about to spend $2000 on just the rifle anyways. All responses will be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance!

Used a Sako 85 finnlight with Leupold 4.5-14 scope with Tally rings this fall and never experienced any ejection problems. Just an absolute dream to shoot and hunt with. If I had 2k to spend on a rifle and the 85 came in LH I'd buy it in a heartbeat. This setup is shooting .75 groups of three at 200 yards.
See my post in your other thread. I have had zero ejection issues with that rifle. If you are hunting and you want to get back in the truck, just work the action slow, and the shell will fall out through the hole for the magazine. If you are shooting and working the bolt normally, the shell flies out to the side, not hitting the scope. Mind you, as I explained in my other post, the scope on mine is mounted quite high, so I may notice something when I lower it. The other good thing about it is that you can unload the rifle with the safety on, similiar to the browning x bolt.

No. Sorry! I did not mean to imply experience with Sako's although I have long been interested in them based on reputation.
My "Exactly" was intended to refer to the recommendation of the Super Grade Model 70. Buy a new Model 70 and you can put the savings into a pretty good scope and still have a top-notch rifle.
