I was conducting some research on-line regarding the Steiner Predator 4 rifle scopes. Many positive feedback comments about all their optics, therefore, I ventured off to the Calgary Shooting Center and viewed the 4x16x50. I throughly examined the scope, tested all the bells and whistles and was quite impressed, especially for the price. Needless to say, I arrived home with a great grin on my face!

I did't procrastinate to mount it on my Tikka T3X, 7mm Remington Magnum, when I arrived home. I bore-sighted the scope and now ready to hit the gun range, maybe this week, as it will be cool for the next 5 days.

Awesome looking set up! Ive had and still have Steiner optics. Had a set of Predator binos that worked really great for the money and I gave them to a young hunter who still has them. I have a 223 5X battle sight which is fantastic.

They are indeed a beautiful scope ! Handled a few and had a smaller power one a long time ago. Congrats !!!

My dad (rip pa) had a beautiful set of Steiner Bino's. Military grade with the hache marks and range figuring reticles in them. Clearest glass I've ever seen. Big, robust, HEAVY...the kind you see them using on aircraft carrier movies. He loved them. Said he could see a housefly wiping the chit off his lips at a mile...lmfao !
He got them from a base commander who he moved from Ottawa to Oromocto.

Thought I'd have them when he passed away. While he was in hospice for a few months, his girlfriend of 15 yrs gave them to her scummy neighbor ...along with all his tools etc...piZZed me off sooo bad. Tried to get them back..the #### sold em for a good dollar ! I still give him the one finger salute whenever I pass him while driving !

Does it have the E3 reticle with the vertical hold markers? I've gotten used to that one, Burris uses the same reticle. Very handy. Steiner scopes don't get enough love.
