The Savage does look a little bit better than the Stevens. The grey is just a little bit pale. When I was comparing the 2 on the shelf at the store one day I also noticed that the Steven's stock was almost identicle (besides color) but the Savage stock was cleaned up a little better like the joints from the mold arn't as noticeble. Not that it makes any difference in how the gun works I just jacks the price up a little more.

What's so special about his rifle that Savage decided to take a picture of it and post it on their own website instead of just using their own factory photo?!
