Yes it shoots very straight. Constant .5' grouping at 100m"Sometimes even better."

Ya the the barrel was threaded for a silencer/sako brake, I have a sako brake on it but it doesnt screw to the end .
The threads dont go to the end on the barrel, the brake is on all the way, going to have to make a shim that covers the unthreaded part.

I like your rifle, it is a beauty. Here is something I don't understand. I don't consider 1/2 inch group all that great for bench shooting but certainly gonna do the job for a tactical rifle. I spent about 1000$ on my savage and shilen bbl (without optics and mounts) and am getting in the .1 to .2's without too much trouble and I haven't done any accurizing. I rarely hear of guys with really expensive tac rifles getting bench shooting type accuracy. So if you aren't buying accuracy what really are you paying for? If you are not really a sniper it seems to be alot of money to spend to shoot 1/2 inch groups. Most of the savages/stevens I've tried will do 1/2 inch out of the box. Not trying to offend anyone and I certainly can see that that is a very nice looking gun, it just seems that for the kind of coin that must have cost it should outshoot a 300$ stevens

Cheers

 Come one, come all. :dancingbanana:

Nice rig, btw.

I have shot tighter groups, but .5' seems to be my mst consistant. I borrowed my friends rifle rest and shot a bunch at .3'

Iam still kinda green when it comes to presision shooting, Im used to letting loose with my DPMS.

Holy Captain Bringdown....

Nice rig... regardless of cost and "supposed" accuracy. Cost and Value are two different things, and it sounds you got more value then you had anticipated. Good on ya, shes a beautiful rifle..
