Well GBT is sold out on the right hand so why haven’t some of the buyers reported on these new actions? Accuracy reports and what barrel stocks/chassis and ammo they’re liking. Or do they suck large and that’s why no reporting? Or so deadly they wanna keep it a secret? Come on guys we need to know. Sponges drying in the sun here

A comparison between the Bergara and the Vudoo and RimX may be unfair.

In terms of price, at $1600 the Bergara will be considerably less expensive than a Vudoo or RimX. Unlike the other two it doesn't have a custom barrel. But the trigger can be replaced with a better one.

The RimX action alone is nearly $1700 (before taxes) in Canada. It would deserve a top quality barrel, trigger, and stock. The Vudoo V22 barreled action is $2500 before adding a trigger and stock.

I think you'll see these reports come out very soon. I have a few I've received so hopefully they transition to these threads. Feedback has been excellent.

We're hoping to do a comparison with the Vudoo, RimX and Area 419 Elite build. I would agree that the Bergara comes in at a completely different price point.

I have a RimX with a 20” PVA barrel. It’s an amazing shooter. After adjusting the mag a bit it feeds super smooth. I tried some Midas+, Center-X, SK Long Range Match, SK Rifle Match and some CCI SV. All of them shot very well. The CCI rims are a bit thick and the bolt was a bit harder to close. I’ll post some photos soon.

Hey, sounds good. Looking forward to more reports and pics. Thanks for sharing!

I like this idea. Ignore the price points and look at performance.

Here's a prediction. With good ammo, RimX and Vudoo > Bergara. The difference between the RimX and Vudoo will be in the barrels. The factory Bergara barrel is unlikely to equal or better the custom barrel options available for the other two.

Yes, I'm sure, old boy.;) If you think the groups in the picture are good, then you should get a Bergara and be satisfied never knowing the difference between good groups and those on the target shown.

Of course, you might note that the suggested group sizes of KOD, who posted his paper plate targets on RFC and elsewhere, are just that -- suggestions. They appear larger than the sizes indicated.

Quoted for truth. The groups pictured are only fair by standards rimfire gurus require. Dave.

Ive noticed many posted groups are not what they are represented as on lots of the different forums. Most are probably honest mistakes but many are so blatantly obvious I cant even see how the OP doesnt notice! Pots legal now so I suppose a gummie and HEY DUDE THATS FRIKUN AWESOME MAN.

Side note on the gun comparisons. I have been exposed to four different Bergara B14s and as far as accuracy I would not snub ur nose at one. My opinion is they are the most under rated rimfire out there. I own a Vudoo which is incredibly accurate but a B14 with a better trigger and quality ammo is a sleeper big time. With the factory barrel it will give any rimfire a go at PRS events and with a Lilja or other dedicated quality match 22 barrel most guns out there a run for their money at a huge price difference. It will not beat a dedicated single shot BR gun. This is stated for all of our illustrious Bench Rest shooters but Id have a go at any of you with one. And no Rabid Im not betting $100,000 But I really would like to try UR homebrew!!!!!!!
