I emailed Robarms about the new stocks and I got a strange email response. They said that the stock must be acceptable for export. They are waiting for a response on what needs to be modified to make this stock compliant for export. In order for it to be compliant, they figure the stock most likely cannot be a folder and must be fixed. That just erks me. This stock is not attached to a XCR rifle so why all the fuss? I can buy an ATI sks stock that is fully adjustable with no problems at all.

U.S. DOS regulations. Nothing much Robarms can do about it. ACE folding stocks are in the same situation. You can however buy a NEA folding adaptor and mount a fixed stock to it to make a folder.

You are not explaining this properly. The ACE folding stocks are attached to rifle, right? Is it it on it's own?

US export laws prohibit the export of folding stocks.

Canadian import laws do not restrict the importing of folding stocks.

No I am not suggesting that anyone sneaks one out of the US and legally pay the duties/taxes on the stock at the Canadian border.

Wolverine Supplies the Canadian importer of all Robinson Arms XCR rifles/components has announced that they are working with Robinson Arms to get the new stock up here it will as of this time not be folding unless it will fit NEA's adapter.

I emailed Rob arms directly as well and this was the response i received.

We are working with the US State Department in order to make an export compliant version of the XCS/FASt. When and if that is approved, the stock will be available through Wolverine Supplies.
