NEW Robinson arms AR stock adapter

I guess we should make the folder this high as well.

Absolutely yes. There is no purpose to the drop in the stock. I cannot understand why people prefer the mid-cheek weld stock height AR stock adapter, and then buy a ####ing cheek riser afterwards. The stock should never have been designed so low in the first place.

I guess someone complained and I had my pics removed. I guess there are some people in this world that can't get things done and don't want others to either...

Yes, but just make them anyway. You'll sell the other nine or whatever really easily on the EE. There is no set definition as to what is a dealer and what is not, some people are selling off their massive collections, does that mean they are dealers? So get your adapters made and sell all the rest you don't need.

Don't let the big boys dissuade you. Just because it says "dealer" under their user name, doesn't mean they can bully you around. No one says you have to suffer with excess stock adapters cluttering your house. You can sell them/give them away/recoup your losses, that's what the EE is for.

Yeah, maybe some of the dealers are trying to get their **** squared away and make a similar product, and while they are twiddling their thumbs you've lost patience and had something done bespoke, but it is the fault of the manufacturer for not providing you with what you want, and thus you can sell off any excess that resulted from creating what you actually want.

Basically, the manufacturers are not taping into that market with a specific product. You go and get the product made for you to your requirements. This product is not on the market, no one is exploiting it's market niche, or else you would have just purchased one. You can sell any excess. You are not competing with the manufactures, as they don't make that product, and thus they should sit down and shut up, because they had their chance to bring that product to the market, and they will have their chance to bring that product to the market later. The dealers have not lost anything they were not losing in the first place.

Of course, if you want to sell these adapters forever, meaning that when they are sold out, you get more made, then you should become a dealer, as you are taking away from the established dealers a part of the market that they might finally get their act together into exploiting (in an epoch or two).

Summary:
One time thing due to minimal order quantity requirements, once they are out of stock, too bad: OK
Forever, this is your product, you can get many made if these sell: Bad, get dealer status first.

And remember, it is always easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission.

(Just watch me get an infraction for some "assisting others in circumventing the rules (when it's actually all about the money)" bullocks for this posting.)

Looks like we put our money where our mouths are, I'm pretty sure I know who's crying... looks like there trying to reduce their business even further... If cgn dealers can't get their sh*t together why should we have to pay the price.... If your not making money and putting together a "bulk" order where the hell's the problem... Works being done by a site sponsor anyway...oops!

Actually there is think taxes... if you charge taxes on the items you sell you obviously are a business and will need to be a dealer... if you don't charge taxes you are obviously not a business so do not have to be a dealer.

When I was a mod the line was drawn at taking orders for stuff. If you built one widget for fun and then sold it, not a dealer. If you took orders for 5 widgets and built them to sell at a profit, dealer. Tax didn't enter into it.

No idea if that "definition" still stands.

if you did it as a group buy you might be able to get around it, I started the HERA Arms group buy a while back (didn't go anywhere since I couldn't get the quantities the vendor required). I just sent a PM to Green Tips and he okay'd it, but then again I wasn't making any profit out of it.

Have to agree here. I don't mind the actual stock, but the change in a lower height makes no sense. Get working Charles. An adapter for the actual receiver height, folding would be nice too. Cheers.

I can't find them on the dlask arms web site... Can anyone PM me the link, or post it (if it's allowed?)

I don't even have an XCR yet, I only just read about them a few days ago and they sound amazing. Fill in a much needed gap for non restricteds in canada. I want one pretty freaking bad, but that drop down and still a few issues with the exports of accessories has been making me more hesitant. This looks to potentially be, freaking awsome.
