This one's called a GP WASR-10/63 (no idea what the "/63" is supposed to mean). Came with all the pictured accessories, now I just gotta go and see how it shoots. Probably wouldn't hurt to buy a couple more mags, too.

I'm pretty ignorant of Canadian firearms laws. You guys get these also?

Dude, two words, YOU SUCK. Just kidding, no those are prohibited here. If you didn't own one prior to the law coming into effect, and didn't continue to own one ever since, you're not going to own one. The kicker is that even if you own one you can't shoot it.

Plus no new ones can come into the country.
 
We've got a Democratic majority in Congress now, so who knows what'll happen down the road? One good thing is that pushing gun control can be political suicide at times.

So, AR-15's in Canada but no AK-47's? Must be that evil appearance.
 
See, you do understand Canadian gun laws, in fact if you see a gun and say to yourself " that's cool looking" we probably can't get it here.
 
There are AK47's in Canada but only those who owned them before they were made prohibited can own them. Sadly, they can't shoot them as they are not longer issuing permits allowing you to take them to the range.

Let us know how it shoots. I have a gun-enthusiast brother-in-law in Arizona, and he's offered to add an AK to his collection so I can shoot it when I'm down there.
 
Just ordered the Romainian Ak from AIM.

Always wanted one for the heck of it and put the order in since the Demokrats are now in control of the government this semi-auto rifle is sure to be banned very soon.

Hot tip in the US is to buy what you want now before the demand drives the prices up before the new Demokrat gun bans.


Have several SKS's and find that with the fixed 20 rd mag and stripper clips they shoot as fast and more accurate than the AK's.
 
Do you guys have a mag limit? Like could you fill that up with 30 shells and go all wild or can you only put like 5 in there?
