New Ruger Canadian PC Carbines

We've shared feedback with Ruger regarding a 10mm option. Not sure this will go anywhere, but they are aware of your requests. In the shot term, we can offer a 40cal variant.

The 9mm rifles are rolling through on a semi-regular basis (although we can always take more!)

Good day Nutters,

We have good news - after much discussion with Ruger, we are pleased to announce the new PC Carbine featuring a free-float handguard is available with a non-restricted length barrel. Additionally, the new .40 S&W is also being offered with a non-restricted length barrel. We are placing orders this week with Ruger - expect to see these at your dealers late summer.

So the 40. have landed?

I'm almost wondering if Ruger isn't sure they can pull off a 10mm PC? Even over .40 and .45 I see guys begging for a 10mm option.

7.62 x 25 unrealistic as BOTH Ruger and Glock don't make a magazine in this calibre. We would be more likely (still a long shot) to see one in 5.7x28.
Because Ruger makes a pistol chambered in 5.7x28, they already have a magazine ready

I like the 5.7x28 idea in a rifle, would be very cool indeed. Would need a brass catcher though!.....:)

If they brought in a 10mm I would justify pulling out my wallet. Not really interested in 40. 10mm I could break down and hunt with

Possibly in 2021. So far, we have not been asked by any dealers for the Charger model.

None of the chassis version have arrived in 40 yet. We hope to see production in the new year of this one.

It may not happen. However, enough demand will certainly help push Ruger to produce a 10mm configuration.

All of the feedback is greatly appreciated - we'll keep sharing this with Ruger. Hopefully they can produce a 10mm carbine at come point! As an FYI, if this were to happen, it won't be for a long while these days.

Since this is a blowback operated firearm, the bolt for a 10mm would be damn heavy, if even possible for such a hot cartridge
