Hi. 'Ive been on the site a while but haven't posted before. Guess I am more of a reader than a talker. Having said that, maybe you folks might want to check this out :https://www.hcmags.com/ . Looks pretty cool to me and am just wondering if anybody has gotten their hands on one yet? Thanks

Wow that's a really cool mag! Just looked up a review video and they appear legit. Why haven't I heard of these before and where can I buy one?

likely can't have them here... when he is taking it out of pacage pause it. the packaging says charger .22 pistol

But that's the issue with other mags to is they want everyone to buy them but because there advertised for a pistol as well we can't have them

Exactly!

So anyone that knows the laws well... If they are NOT packaged/labelled saying "Charger" or "pistol" they should be ok for import? We have butler creek, promag, tactical innovations, etc, but not BX25 or others if they say charger/pistol. Our laws are so messed up... The BX25 was advertised for rifle and pistol so it got prohib but if they made offered packaging that doesn't say charger/pistol it would be ok? Would the HC3R be OK without Charger packaging?

They list for 39.95 US.

Sorry I meant raise the price too steeply once they get here... With the Canadian dollar worth more than the US dollar I can't understand how we still pay more than the US MSRP. I know there are lots of costs involved, likely more than I understand, I just think we should be much closer to the US pricing.

A few months back the US street price on TI25 mags were $30-$35 for the composite with metal feed lips and they are $45-$50 up here for the same thing. Just ordered 3 TI25 mags but at $45 or more per mag that is pretty expensive for a 10-22 mag.

Hopefully we can get these new mags imported closer to the US MSRP.

Either way, if these are close to $40 each I will likely get 3 of these to add to my 3 Steel Lips and 3 TI25 composite steel lips.

Variety is the spice of life as they say.

The reality is manufacturers often have a pricing structure to thier distributors. The more the distributor buys, the cheaper they get it.
Distributors do the same, with smaller wholesale purchases costing more than large volume purchases.

In many cases, the Canadian distributor is probably paying the same as a large family run chain store in the US.
