Holler at me when you get your hands on the Ruger precision rimfire! Can't find it anywhere! 😔
These models have been very difficult to source recently. While we managed to get a small shipment at the end of last year following the change in Rugers main distributor in Canada, they have not received any additional stock of the precision rimfire models since then.

How does that work? Is there one distributor for all the vendors in Canada? How do they allocate products to the vendors?

When I was a dealer, there were two authorized Canadian Distribution Centers for Ruger Firearms.

They were Korth Group Ltd and Big Rock Sports.

I've been retired 15 months now. Big Rock Sports in Canada and the USA have gone bankrupt and are no longer in business......:( (recently)

This leaves Korth Group as the only Ruger importer.

There could very well be a new CDN outlet for Ruger that I am not aware of, I'm sure Canadas Gun Store will chime in.

One does have to watch grey market importers on any products. Warranty, recalls, and other issues could arise which can be extremely frustrating......:(

Our previous main Ruger distributor was Big Rock Sports, but as Thunderhog mentioned, they are no longer in business. This left us working with Korth, who unfortunately had limited stock of Ruger rifles when we last checked.

Fortunately, Gravel Agency has secured a contract with Ruger and appears to be more successful in bringing Ruger rifles into Canada. Regarding product allocation, the distribution typically operates on a first come first served basis. Orders are generally fulfilled based on the age of the backorder, though this process is not always strictly followed.

Happy shooting,

Josh

Thanks Josh,

I had heard Gravel Agency also picked up the Ruger contract, however I did not want to steal your thunder!....:) LOL

Korth Group was my second largest supplier of firearms, scopes, ammunition, and reloading components. Oddly enough Gravel Agency was my smallest distributor. It's good to hear they have amped up their program.

Your retail prices are always very fair, thanks for that as well.

John
