I just got an email add from Ruger promoting the pistol and it is now on their website too. Can't wait to get my hands on it. It will be a nice little companion to my Ruger GP-100. The girlfriend will like the less recoil from the revolver too.

I used to have one in the early 90s. Very nice revolver. The only issue was the cylinder gap was so tight, it would carbon up and sieze the cylinder if I didn't keep it clean.

Sweet, that it's not 4.0", at least. Ruger knows we like shooting up here, if only some of the others could figure it out.

IIRC, they said it would have a 4.3" barrel in the G&A article. I guess the 4.3" was a typo.

I sort of went the opposite route and picked up a 4" GP-100 to go with an earlier 4" model of the SP-101 in 22LR I've recently acquired.
