Just saw this on Ruger's site.
SR-22 pistol.
Not a legal version for here yet but it's only a matter of time.
Pretty cool...kind of Sig Mosquito like.

I'd like to hope that it would at least fit in an SR9/40c holster, otherwise, what's the point? I think if it is too much of a departure from SR pistol line to be a cheaper-to-shoot training tool, then Ruger will have missed the mark.

That is better, but still looks like crap compared to the as designed length. Our laws suck balls.

Well, MSRP for the SR9 is $529 and the street price here is less than that, down to ~$450 I have seen lately. The MSRP for the SR22 is $399, so we should be able to expect them to come in around that mark here.

This. I would have much preferred an SR9 look-a-like. I also really hate the fact that it is hammer fired instead of striker.

I won't be getting one.
