Decided that I needed to add a Air Rifle to the safe. I decided on the RWS 350 .22 cal. Well priced, lots of power and good pellet selection.

Looking foward to shoot it.

Got it from Speciality Shooting Sports and Rhonda and Mike were awesome to deal with. Gun was tested and chronied.

To be honest I think I am going to go with open sights for a while.

Nice, I have been becoming more fond of open sights these days as well.

I have been thinking a lot recently about getting into air guns, particularly a handgun which I can fire in my basement to practice technique. Still on the fence about it though. :)

Let's see some accuracy pics after you have been out with it :)

Will do. I actually just recently got back into airguns. Owned a Webley Patriot in .25 cal and ended up selling it to fund another project.....you know how it is. I really wanted another one, one that I can take to my cottage and plink/hunt with. I kind of like setting up a can on a stick at the end of my dock and see how I do with the old open sights. Its probably a good 35-40 yards.

I was thinking about a handgun as well and I still might dabble.

Airguns

I got into airguns again recently due to the high cost of ammo and the lack of time to go to the range. I used to go to the range every week.
I shoot blowback airpistols in my garage almost on a daily basis. I practice draw and shoot using Beretta PX 4 airpistol and Walther CP99 Compact.

Also, I now shoot non PAL rated air rifles. Lots of fun and a cheaper way to get trigger time. I still shoot real guns at the range but consume less amount of ammo now. Practicing with airguns helps maintain shooting proficiency at a lower cost.

The Diana 350 is one of the best hunting springers money can buy.. Your velocity numbers are a bit on the low side, might need break in. After you've put a few hundred shots through it, chrony it again and see.. This rifle should at least get 850-870 with 14gr pellets.. It should be a 22-23 ft/lb rifle out of the box. A properly tuned one will get around 900fps with Rws Superdomes or 870 with Rws SuperHollowpoints..
