New S&W M&P compact now in Canada

Was browsing the handgun section at Questar and noticed that they now have for pre order the S&W M&P compact in 9 and 40...

Price for $845. What do you guys think? These are the same sizes as the glock 26/27 and given how happy I am with my M&P 9, I am very tempted.. The barrel of course is aftermarket in 106 mm from Storm Lake, but shouldn't look any worse than the glocks...

Interested in the 9C. $849.99 is not a bad price but has a 12-24 week delivery on it. Wouldn't mind seeing what it looks like with the SL barrel in it though. At least the barrel will be black and not stainless.

I'm surprised the M&P45c hasn't been brought in yet - it only needs 4mm to make it legal (if you're listening S&W!!!)

The normal barrel on the compact is 3.5". Putting almost .75" out front is going to look strange. It might not be so bad if it's threaded...
