Just a heads up that Sako has released a new version of their Quad rifle called the "Range". Check it out:

I've handled the tikka sporter and it's a very comfortable stock, I just couldn't get over the colour, the one they chose for the Quad is much nicer. Although it looks like your still required to advertise for Sako with that obnoxious badge, oh well.
 
They've been out in Europe for almost a year now. I kinda prefer the more conservative color theme on The Quad as compared to the Tikka Sporter.

If I had to speculate on price I'd say $1300+.

That's the one thing that worries me. This stock demands a huge price jump when it comes to tikka ($1100 for a varmint vs. $1800 for the sporter) so how much is the price going to jump from a heavy barrel Quad? Fingers crossed..
 
I have an older Quad and it's a real shooter. I only have the .22 barrel for it though. That new one looks pretty sweet.
